Portfolio References

After understand the thing i need to include and the layout system i proceed my research on analysing some of the professional portfolio website of pass winner in CSS design awards. I didnt want to make it too complicated so I explore on some of the website that i will like my website to look like.

First will be http://peterwesolowski.co.uk/

This website portfolio design and layout and basically very simple. But the content that are allocated in the website are following grid. Easy understand interaction and navigation. The fixed navigation come in very handy while searching for information.

Second will be http://www.rleonardi.com/interactive-resume/

Leonardi is multimedia designer. He create a parallax scrolling website to mainly showcase his skillset and experience. Creative graphic and animation flow when scrolling not only will guide the focus of viewer but it also creates a fun experience. 

Third will be http://letters-inc.jp/

This website was design to present a portfolio of an agency. The website provide a creative user experience, combined with clean, compact navigation and user interface. Website’s graphic design will clean outline forming geometrical shape, while the line is being animated, it guide the viewer’s view to the important information.

From these three website i got better understanding on creating my own portfolio. Clean and understand navigation is the key for interaction. Put in something that are able to identified myself while exploring the website. Put in my identity. Layout need to be fixed so is easy view the info and no need to design the website too complicated, sometime clean is one the key of designing the website.
